Thinking about what purpose is

"Discovering Your Purpose in Unexpected Places: Self-Discovery for Men":

Have you ever found yourself asking the question, "Why am I here?" It's a common query that many of us have asked at one time or another. As men, we want to live a purposeful life that makes a difference, but sometimes it's hard to know where to start.

The good news is that you don't need to have everything figured out to discover your purpose. Sometimes, the most unexpected paths can lead us to our calling.  Here are three ways that you can embark on your journey of self-discovery and purpose:

Pay attention to what causes you pain - Every one of us was born to solve a problem. Your purpose is always associated with a problem to which you are the solution. If you're feeling dissatisfied with your life, take a moment to reflect on what is causing you pain. This pain can be a sign that you're meant to address this issue and make a difference in the world.

Pursue what you love - Your purpose is not just about earning a living. What do you love to do, even if you weren't getting paid for it? Pursuing your interests can help you discover your unique skills and talents, and lead you to your calling.

Embrace life's twists and turns - Sometimes, life takes us down an unexpected path. It's easy to feel lost or discouraged during these times, but it's important to keep an open mind. These experiences can often reveal things about ourselves and our purpose that we wouldn't have discovered otherwise.

So if you're feeling stuck or uncertain about your purpose, don't be afraid to explore new opportunities and experiences. You never know what unexpected places they might lead you to. Keep asking yourself "Why am I here?" and allow the answer to unfold naturally.
